Content Developer/Public Relations Marketing Specialist

ITT Visual Information Solutions is a leader in software solutions that create exceptional value for medical, remote sensing and scientific customers in government, commercial, research and development, and academic communities.

We are looking for a Content Developer/Public Relations Marketing Specialist to join our progressive Marketing Communications team. This position is responsible for developing, writing and editing content for all types of communication outlets to support the company’s corporate image, marketing positions and brand awareness. This specialist must be able to translate the ITT product and services value propositions to various marketing and public relations communications platforms. The candidate also will research, gather and produce editorial content for various internal publications, sales and marketing collateral, and the internet.

This is a high profile position requiring the right candidate to work with a cross-section of talented employees to produce compelling content for press releases, website landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters, banners, paid search and other programs such as social media outlets. Also, this candidate must write motivating, concise promotion copy for print, online and marketing collateral material as well.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications or equivalent experience

* 2-5 years of writing experience in a marketing role

* Superior communication, organization and planning skills, plus demonstrated skills in handling a variety of assignments simultaneously

* Expert writing, editing and grammar skills required; superior self-editing skills – written work requires minimal review by manager (writing exam will be required)

* Ability to work under deadline pressure

* Detail-oriented with strong project management skills

* Experience with social media outlets is preferred

* Knowledge of software industry or geospatial field is preferred
